Apex Precision Manufacturing has completed a $12 million expansion of our Phoenix fabrication and assembly center, adding 25,000 square feet of production space and 60 new jobs.
The expansion includes a dedicated cleanroom assembly area for aerospace avionics enclosures, a second automated powder coat line, and additional welding stations with robotic assistance. These investments directly respond to growing demand from our aerospace and defense customers.
"This expansion positions us to capture significant growth in the defense electronics segment," said CEO Robert Tanaka. "Our customers need a domestic supplier with the capacity and certifications to handle their most sensitive programs."
The expansion creates 60 new manufacturing positions with an average wage of $28/hour plus benefits, reinforcing our commitment to well-paying jobs in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
