The U.S. Department of Labor has officially recognized the Apex Manufacturing Apprenticeship Program as a Registered Apprenticeship, certifying that our training meets national standards for quality and rigor.

Program Overview

The four-year program combines paid on-the-job training with related classroom instruction at Sinclair Community College. Apprentices rotate through machining, fabrication, quality inspection, and manufacturing engineering, earning nationally recognized journeyman credentials upon completion.

Since launching in 2019, the program has graduated 28 apprentices with a 94% retention rate. Starting wages begin at $18/hour and increase to over $32/hour at program completion.

"Finding skilled machinists and fabricators is one of the biggest challenges in American manufacturing," said HR Director James Park. "Our apprenticeship program is building the pipeline we need to grow."
